2. Today we cover page 1147 in our Bible and in Upper Room from Friday 2/5 (page 47) through Thursday 2/11 (page 53)

5. Please read the attached handout from James Howell dated 2/9/2010
1. It follows up on our last session about forgiveness
2. Is there anything in this church that might need the advice in the last chapter?
6. Let’s look at page 1147 in the Men’s Devotional Bible
1. Tell us about grief and how to handle it
2. Has your interpretation of the following changed as you have “grown up?”

i. The scripture says in John 16 :23 . . “whatsover ye ask the Father in my name, He will give to you.”

7. Please read the article on Communion (on page 49 for February 7 Sunday) to the group.
1. What is the purpose of Communion?
2. Any comment on the Scripture (from I John):

i. Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.

• 3. What is the hardest spiritual question anyone has ever asked you? How did you answer it then? How would you answer it if you were asked now?
• 4. How do you plan for fallow time? What refreshes you spiritually, and how often do you make time for this? Where do you need to cooperate more fully with God?
• 5. How are you different today than you were 10 years ago? What changes do you see only in looking back? What does this say to you about your spiritual life?
